S.T.A.R. is a satellite tracking app for the Magic Leap
Some features:
- shows all publicly known satellites orbiting the Earth (18000+)
- search for satellite by NORAD ID
- select a satellite and view its orbit path and nearest neighbor distance in KM
- show satellites by regime (LEO, MEO, HEO, GEO)
- show special satellite groups via Celestrak downloadable TLEs (internet connection required):
--- last 30 days
--- space stations
--- starlink
--- 100 (or so) brightest
--- Weather, NOAA, GOES
--- and many, many more
- view fairly accurate earth relative position of satellites
- realtime update of near collisions (less than 20km)
- fast-forward, fast-rewind, pause
- scale the scene up or down
- move the scene anywhere in your environment
